About Us
Welcome to Sunshine Palette Child Care!
Sunshine Palette Child Care is a home-based daycare that is committed to providing high-quality support and education for children. We believe by creating a warm and welcoming environment, it will elevate your child’s emotional, social, and academic growth, fostering their creativity and self-confidence. Your child will have the opportunity to learn a second language (Mandarin) at an early age, as well as participate in arts & craft and daily social interactions.
Our capacity is 8 children, with a ratio of 1:4 teacher-child ratio. Our teacher-to-child ratio is small, which allows us to focus more on each child’s learning and growth. Additionally, by providing daily reports of our activities, parents can be involved with their children’s every moment.
The philosophy we believe in is simple — we hope children grow up happy and healthy.
Qiana Lee has taught children from ages 2 - 12 weekend classes in many educational centers in Macau, including arts & craft, oil painting, and mixed media arts for 2 years before coming to America. She has also worked at Galaxy Entertainment Group for 4 years, where she did recruitment operations and graphic design for advertising campaigns. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and has a professional certificate in Art & Design.
Raised in a Portuguese family and having lived in Macau, Taiwan, and now the U.S, Qiana is very multicultural and believes in providing a well-rounded perspective in her teaching, cooking, and daily activities. Being a parent to her 2-year-old daughter, Kathleen, and working with children in the past, she understands the importance of patience, empathy, and hands-on learning.
During her spare time, she enjoys cooking fusion cuisines, exploring national parks, and volunteering to design posters for some associations.
